About This Activity
This is a 6 hour timed mulitlap event. Each lap being approximately 3.5 miles. The trail is a compact gravel for the whole course. 3 laps for a half marathon, 8 for a marathon, and 9 for an Ultra.
Set on what was the old railway line from Fareham to East Meon, now known as the Moon Valley Trail, we can use this track with kind permission from Hampshire County Council and Wickham Parish Council.
Please arrive in good time, and there will be a full briefing at 9.20 before the race starting at 9.30.
As this is a timed event in the spring, please dress for all weather possibilities. If we are lucky then the course is normally awash with Bluebells alongside the track.
The course is a good surface, so road shoes will probably be ok, but it will be down to you on the day to make your shoe choice.
We will provide snacks, goodies and fun.
One lap will get you the medal. We cater for all speeds, and for all distances. So whether you want to push yourself to your first 10km, or to your 100th marathon, all your needs will be looked after.
All of our events are registered with the 100 Marathon Club, so if you get to 8 laps it will be another tick in the box towards that 100 (or beyond).
