Insomniacs Challenge 1st-2nd July 2017

Many people have asked us if we fancied putting on an over night challenge event. Never wishing to disappoint our runners, we have been working hard to pull together a 12 hour night challenge for you. We now have a TRA permit, insurance and land permissions to use Staunton Country Park and Havant Thicket to stage our first all night event, the Insomniacs Challenge.

The event will be based around 4.5 mile loops; you can run as little or as much as you want in those 12 hours. One lap qualifies you for the medal.

We have teamed up with Rkdia Catering and they will provide a Pasta/Soup meal during the evening and a breakfast type roll in the morning, plus tea/coffee facilities overnight, in addition to the usual fayre at the aid station.

There will be no facilities for overnight camping but should you need a rest break we will have a gazebo for participants use and your car should also not be too far away. Camping stoves/BBQs are also not permitted.
All runners must use a head torch after 20:30 (or earlier if weather is inclement). You may be prevented from running without suitable kit. This is for your safety, and the safety of others.

You can of course be assured that we will be working on the bling to ensure that it holds up to our usual high standards.
